For a grid-connected PV system, inverters are the crucial part required to convert dc power from solar arrays to ac power transported into the power grid. The control performance and stability of inverters severely affect the PV system, and lots of works have explored how to analyze and improve PV inverters’ control stability .

Therefore, a risk analysis is a crucial part of the system design. This paper presents a risk analysis of a large-scale grid-tied solar PV system for Tucson Electric Power (TEP), the electricity service provider for the Tucson Arizona metropolitan area.
This review article presents a comprehensive review on the grid-connected PV systems. A wide spectrum of different classifications and configurations of grid-connected inverters is presented.
This paper critically reviews the recent challenges and the associated strategies under LVRT conditions in GCPV inverters. The drawbacks associated with the conventional current control strategies are investigated in MATLAB/Simulink environment. The advanced LVRT control strategies are categorized and analyzed under different types of grid faults.
PV risk analysis serves to identify and reduce the risks associated with investments in PV projects. The key challenge in reacting to failures or avoiding them at a reasonable cost is the ability to quantify and manage the various risks.
